Ayres, inscribed inside ''For Gina with cousin Katie's best love'', with pair of battledores, circa 15cm., a very rare pair of heavy posts designed in the same style as Ayres' lawn tennis posts (but without the winding mechanism), net, 3 early balls, no laws but clearly circa 1910 ii) TABLE TENNIS, by Gray's of Cambridge, circa 1940s, and sold for 5 shillings, with pair of Gray, wooden bats, one side covered with sandpaper, pair of lightweight posts and 3 balls iii) PING-PONG by Parker Brothers, Salem, Mass., U.S.A., protected in America, Great Britain and Canada, with very attractive, colourful cover, a later version than the set in lot 316, with sandpaper-covered wooden bats, quality adjustable metal posts and net, photocopy of earlier laws, 3 old balls, the box is in need of restoration
