1930s RAC Tourist Trophy Race un-issued finisher's medal, a gilt-bronze design featuring the winged figure of Victory within a laurel wreath beneath the Royal Crown, RAC and TOURIST TROPHY RACE (undated) either side, the reverse devoid of engraving detailing drivers, make of car, position achieved, or speed, in an original case marked Birmingham Medal Co. Ltd., Birmingham & London, sold with an RAC/MSA letter of authenticity dated 1984 (3). Similar to medals awarded for the 1938 and 1939 Tourist Trophy events held at Donington Park.
