Peter Storey's yellow Arsenal No.4 jersey from the F.A. Cup final v Liverpool at Wembley 8th May 1971, short-sleeved, blue embroidered F.A. Cup trophy and club cannon crest and dated 1971; sold together with a signed letter of authenticity from the former Arsenal player Peter Marinello (2) In his letter Peter Marinello confirms that Peter Storey gave him his shirt as a memento of a memorable day. In turn, Peter Marinello gave the shirt to his cousin Tony Marinello to cheer him up following an unsuccessful trial at Arsenal FC in 1972. It has been in Tony Marinello's possession to this day. Played on a warm and sunny day at Wembley Stadium, the match was goalless after 90 minutes. In an eventful period of extra time Steve Heighway scored for Liverpool in the 92nd minute with Eddie Kelly equalising 9 minutes later. The game was finally settled by a stunning Charlie George strike in the second period of extra time.
