A rugby ball signed by the first Anzac team to play the British Lions in Brisbane 23rd July 1989, a white Gilbert Barbarian ball signed in biro by 21 Australian Wallabies and New Zealand All Blacks players and additionally signed by the Anzac manager, coach, assistant coach, doctor, physio, liaison officer and baggage manager, players' signatures including McDowell, McBain, McIntyre, Cutler, Campbell, Poidevin, Miller, Gavin, Farr-Jones, Lynagh, Campese, Botica, Maguire, Williams, Crowley etc. The Lions beat the Anzac XV 19-15. The combined Australia and New Zealand team who wore green, gold & black shirts was dominated by Australian players, the New Zealand contingent seemingly not supporting the concept and providing only three members of the 21-man squad of whom only one was a capped international.
