Five boxed table tennis sets, i) ''The New Game of Whiff-Waff or Table Tennis'' by Slazenger circa 1900, with 2 battledores measuring 44cm., tube with 2 'lapped' balls, netting, wood posts with brass clamps allowing height of net at 6, 7 or 8in., rules printed inside the lid, box good; ii) ''Ping-Pong or Gossima'' by Jacques circa 1910, with a pair of sandpaper-covered bats, adjustable posts, netting, 3 'lapped' balls, 12 page rules booklet, competition drawsheet (unused) all in a very rare papier m?ch? box, the label slightly chipped; iii) ''Table Tennis - St Michael Set'' circa 1940s, with unusual view of a tournament scene with a crowd of spectators, pair of plywood/cork bats, metal posts, netting, 4 balls, rules on inside of lid, all in immaculate, unused condition; iv) ''The 'Bengal' Table Tennis'' by B.G.L. of London, self-adjusting ready to use combined net and post, Patent No.384938, with 2 sandpaper/cork bats, 3 balls, elasticated net, all in immaculate, unused condition; & v) ''Table Tennis Outfit'', a Berwick game, with fine illustration of 2 teenagers at play, a pair of cork-faced bats, metal posts, net, 2 balls, all in very good condition
