A very rare programme for the first ever boxing event held at Wembley Stadium, Tom Gibbons (USA) v Jack Bloomfield (England) Great International Heavy-Weight Contest 9th August 1924, sold together with Tom Morgan's 'Wembley Presents 25 Years of Sport' carrying a report on p.9 and explaining that the attendance was so disappointingly poor that Gibbons refused to go into the ring until 'he had seen the colour of the cash,' hence this programme is a rarity (2)
