A rare photograph of the St Bernard's football team in season 1908-09, 4 1/4 by 6in., laid down, removed from a scrapbook St Bernard's were an Edinburgh football team joined the Scottish Football League in 1893 and in 1895 won the Scottish Cup. This proved to be the high water mark for the club's fortunes and it went into a slow, gradual decline and was finally dissolved during the Second World War years in 1943.
