£150 - £250
Jonas Olsson: a navy blue & white striped West Bromwich Albion No.3 'Poppy Appeal' jersey issued for the match v Manchester City at The Hawthorns 6th November 2010, short-sleeved, embroidered poppy emblem beneath club badge, Premier League flashes to sleeves, the reverse lettered OLSSON; sold together with two club 2010-11 season souvenir pennants with printed autographs (3) Manchester City won the match 2-0 through a brace of goals by Mario Balotelli who was later sent off. West Brom also finished the game with 10 men when Mulumbu slid through the back of Tevez. As is usual practice a 'poppy shirt' was produced for all squad members. However, the current shirt was not required as Albion's Swedish vice-captain Jonas Olsson was on the sidelines with a recently sustained achilles injury that would keep him out of action until 23rd January 2011. Provenance: Donated by West Bromwich Albion FC for a charity auction organised by a group of soldiers from the Royal Engineers who cycled to every Premier League ground in England to raise money for ABF Soldiers Charity, The Royal British Legion, The Royal Engineers Association and Ronald McDonald House charities. Sold at a black tie dinner auction where it was purchased by the present vendor.
