Nordic Games memorabilia, comprising: two bronze medals issued for the 1922 and 1926 Games; three pin badges for 1909 and 1922 (two); two postage vignettes for 1909 & 1913; and a postcard from 1901 (8) The Nordic Games were the world's first international winter sports competitions and were held in 1901, 1903, 1905, 1909, 1913, 1917, 1922 and 1926. The Games were held in Stockholm with the sole exception of 1903, Oslo. The organiser was Victor Balck, an IOC member and Swedish NOC member. The Nordic Games were discontinued shortly after the Winter Olympic were inaugurated in 1924.
