1986 Brabham-BMW BT55 Formula 1 nosecone & front wing, the fibre-glass nose mounted with a two-part wing complete with ailerons and aluminium endplates, including cockpit and rear-view mirror fairings, Pirelli and Olivetti sponsors logos, all finished with dark blue and white gel coat, the nosecone bearing Brabham and BMW manufacturers badges, Emporio Armani logo, plus driver Ricardo Patrese's number 7, also Brabham factory identification X55.6 T-CAR 26, approx. dimensions: width 148cm., 58in., length 146cm., 57in., height 30cm., 12in., evidence of slight 'shunt' damage The 'low-line' BT55 was Gordon Murray's last design for Brabham before he joined McLaren. The item here is thought to have been purchased at a charity auction, which might explain the presence of the small Bridgestone decals.
