Luis Pereira: a yellow Brazil No.3 international jersey worn in the match v Scotland played at the Maracana, Rio de Janeiro, 23rd June 1977, short-sleeved, elasticated green cuffs and collar This jersey was gained as a swap by QPR & Scotland's Don Masson. This was the final game of the South American Tour of 1977. Brazil won the game 2-2, leaving the Scots with a tour record of won one, drew one, lost one. Luis Pereira made a total of 36 international appearances for Brazil between 1973 and 1977 and played in the 1974 World Cup, although his participation ended after we was sent off for a foul on the Dutch midfielder Johan Neeskens. Domestically we won two Campeonato Paulistas and three Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A titles all with S.E. Palmeiras. He also spent six years at Atletico Madrid where he won both a La Liga and Copa del Rey title.
