1978 Suzuki race leathers worn and signed by Barry Sheene, his signature and lucky number 7 written in black marker pen large on the upper right breast, the red, white, yellow and black leatherwork bearing his Christian name on the left, his surname and number 7 on the back, a Suzuki logo and number 7 on each sleeve, a Dainese logo on each leg along with their maker's label stitched into the red lining, also a Forward Trust sponsors logo patch, two other front patches having been removed, sold with a colour photo of the signing and a letter of provenance (3) Exactly as purchased at a 1999 charity auction, Barry later confirmed they were worn by him when autographing them for the vendor at the 2002 North West 200. He then commented on their superb condition and explained that the two patches were removed because of 'issues' with the companies concerned. He is also known to have worn them for promotional work, including a photo-shoot alongside his ex-model wife Stephanie, which subsequently featured on posters.
