1990 Nelson Piquet Benetton Formula 1 race suit, the belt bearing his initial and surname alongside the Brazilian flag, an inner Sparco maker's label marked PIQUET in ballpoint pen (now faded), bearing UNITED COLORS OF BENETTON branding front and back, along with sponsors patches for Autopolis, European, Ford, Goodyear, Mobil 1, Oriello, Sanyo and Sparco, the blue one-piece Nomex suit with elasticated cuffs, body-length zip, Velcro belt and collar, also bearing the relevant printed FIA 1986 Standards marking to the neck, worn condition Brazilian Nelson Piquet Souto Maior, the 1981, 1983 and 1987 Formula 1 World Champion, father of 2008 and 2009 F1 driver Nelson Angelo Piquet, won the last two Grands Prix of 1990 for Benetton, before going on to take his 23rd and final Grand Prix victory for the same team the following year.
