Colin Chapman, Jimmy Clark and Trevor Taylor-signed 1962 Racing Car Show Guide, the Lotus Twenty 'Cars of the Champions' show exhibit editorial occupying page 24, referring to them and bearing their fountain pen signatures in blue ink above a black & white image of the new Formula Junior car, an A5-size 92-page official BRSCC publication, page 71-72 clipped Colin Chapman asked his team to sign this for a member of the Royal Air Force in full uniform, no doubt mindful of having spent his national service as an RAF pilot when he gained much engineering experience and valuable knowledge that would one day be put to extremely good use in motor sport.
