The signatures of Borzacchini, Campari, Nuvolari, Seaman and other 1930s racing drivers, a large collection with over 80 in total, all from the early 1930s, 47 mounted in a small autograph book, many alongside period press photos, the remainder on loose pages and cut-outs from another album, the more notable drivers including Alfa Romeo's Baconin Borzacchini, Guiseppe Campari and Tazio Nuvolari, plus British international competitors like Charles Brackenbury, John Cobb, Leon Cushman, S.C.H. Davis, Freddie Dixon, C.J.P. Dodson, Denis G. Evans, George Eyston, Pat Fairfield, John Hindmarsh, (Earl) Howe, Brian Lewis, E. Maclure, Cyril Paul, Tim Rose Richards, Richard Seaman, C.S. Staniland, the album also including a group of Yorkshire County cricketers' including Sutcliffe, Bowes, Verity, Leyland Rhodes et al (qty.) The three Italian signatures were likely obtained when the works Alfa Romeo team raced at the Ards Tourist Trophy in 1930 or 1931. Nuvolari won the former event and would win it again in September 1933; just one week after the other two drivers had tragically perished in the Monza Grand Prix, Campari competing in his final event prior to retirement.
