Southcott a cycling official at the 1936 Berlin Olympic Games, comprising a bronze plaque from the Olympic Village, manufactured by Harders, the front with a map of the Olympic Village and inscribed OLYMPISCHES DORF, FREUNDSCHAFT UND FRIEDEN, the reverse inscribed XI Olympishe Speile, Berlin, 1936, Unseren Sportsfreunden der Englishen Olympia - Mannschaft. Zur Erinerung an das Haus Duisburg gewidmet, Duisberg im Oktober 1936, iwith facsimile signature of the Oberburgermeister (Mayor), which translates as this Duisberg house is dedicated in remembrance to our English Sports friends, of the 1936 Olympic Team, 19 by 11.5cm., 7 1/2 by 4 1/2in.; sold together with Mr Southcott's 1936 Berlin Olympic Games Medal of Merit and his Merit Diploma; the lot also including two booklets, Die XI. Olympischen Spiele Zu Berlin 1-16 August 1936, and Olympic Games, Berlin, 1936, 1st-16th August (5) Teddy Southcott was associated with Catford Cycling Club.
