A 1966 Royal Variety Performance programme from the London Palladium autographed by the England football team who were welcomed on stage during the evening's performance, signatures including all eleven of the World Cup winning players plus Alf Ramsey, Harold Shepherdson and reserves Hollins, Callaghan, Clarke, Labone & Tambling, interestingly also signed by the Celtic player John Cushley who would join West Ham United the following year (perhaps here meeting up with Moore, Hurst & Peters for a chat!), the final signatures are those of the actress Julia Foster and the TV presenter Muriel Young The England team had assembled on this date 14th November 1966 as they were playing Wales in a Home International two days later. The England starting line-up for this match was the same XI who played in the 1966 World Cup final earlier in the year.
