An Ernie Loze original caricature artwork of the England 1966 World Cup winning team, bearing signatures of the players & Alf Ramsey, but showing evidence that the original autographs in blue ink may have been overwritten by Loze in artist's black ink to improve their presence in the overall artwork, signed & dated by the artist 1966, laid down on board, unframed, 34 by 42cm., 13 1/2 by 16 1/2in.; sold with a press cutting from the Cornwall Independent newspaper in 1972, explaining that Loze sketched the players by watching television interviews before sending the artwork to London to be autographed by the players, which it was and duly returned to the artist; and a copy of a letter Loze sent to Alf Ramsey thanking him for obtaining the autographs on his behalf (3)
