Fernando Masi (Italian contemporary) MICHAEL SCHUMACHER 2002 signed lower left, also signed by Michael Schumacher in red marker pen and dated 2002 lower centre, an unknown signature lower right, acrylic on rolled canvas, unframed, 61 by 89cm., 24 by 35in. Modena resident artist Fernando Masi began his series of works celebrating Ferrari racing history in 1990 and they are regularly exhibited at the Galleria Ferrari in Maranello. Naturally they include the record-breaking successes of the Schumacher era and this work appears to show him clinching his fifth World Drivers Championship at the 2002 French Grand Prix.
