Donald Campbell-signed letter, dated 14th October 1954 and typed on personal printed stationary bearing details of his Bletchworth address, the good-sized signature in ballpoint pen Donald Campbell unveiled a jet-propelled version of the 'Bluebird' boat in the autumn of 1954. It was the first design that he had personally instigated and he became the first man to exceed the 200 mph mark on water with it the following year.
