Barry Sheene-signed 1978 Suzuki race-worn leathers, his signature and lucky number 7 in black marker pen large on the right breast, the leatherwork bearing his Christian name on the left, his surname and number 7 on the back, the Suzuki logo and number 7 on each sleeve, the maker's Dainese logo on each leg and also on a label stitched into the red lining, plus a Forward Trust sponsors logo patch, another patch having been removed from the left breast, sold with a colour photograph of the signing and a letter of provenance (3) The leathers are exactly as purchased at a charity auction in 1999. Barry later confirmed they were used by him and signed them for the purchaser at the North West 200 in 2002. Sadly this was just months before he would succumb to cancer in March 2003 at the age of 52.
