A signed cricket bat from the 1922 Jockeys v Racing Press annual cricket match played at Lord's in aid of St. Dunstan's Hospice for blind ex-servicemen, signed to the face in ink by 12 jockeys, 12 journalists and 2 umpires, the jockeys' team comprising: Steve Donoghue (team captain and that year's Champion and Derby winning jockey), 'Brownie' Carslake (Australian-born jockey, also said to be a 'demon' on the cricket pitch), Bill 'Midge' McLachlan (another Aussie, and three-times Melbourne Cup winning rider), Billy Griggs, Edward Gardner (Lord Derby's jockey), Victor Smyth, G.
