A whip presented to the dual Grand National winning jockey George Stevens by the dual winning trainer Edwin Weever, the silver-mounted whalebone whip by Swaine & Isaac, 'Makers to The Queen', Piccadilly, London, set with a band inscribed PRESENTED TO GEORGE STEVENS, WINNING RIDER, GRAND NATIONAL STEEPLE CHASE, AINTREE, RIDING EMBLEM & EMBLEMATIC, 1863 & 1864, BY WINNING TRAINER, EDWIN WEEVER, 91.5cm., 36in. George Stevens is the winning-most jockey in the History of the Grand National. He won the race on five occasions: Freetrader (1856), Emblem (1863), Emblematic (1864) and The Colonel (1869 & 1870).
