Chester v Runcorn programme 25th October 1930 This was Chester's last season before they were elected to the Football League Division Three (north) the following season, replacing Lancashire club Nelson. They proceeded to finish a highly creditable 3rd in 1931-32. Chester's fortunes never quite emulated this early promise, culminating in their eventual winding-up order in January 2010.
