A touch flag for the Wales v Scotland five nations rugby international match played at the National Stadium Cardiff 1st February 1964, embroidered both sides on red and dark blue grounds with the national emblems of Wales and Scotland, dated 1963-4, 23 by 46m., 9 by 18in. Wales and Scotland shared the Five Nations Championship in season 1963-64 finishing on equal points. Wales were undefeated but drew two of their four games, whereas Scotland had a record of three wins and a defeat, the loss being by a score of 11-3 to Wales in the Cardiff match.
