The autographs of the MCC 'Bodyline' touring team of 1932-33, in ink on headed paper of the Brisbane Hotel, Launceston, Tasmania, 19 signatures including the joint tour managers Pelham Warner and Richard Palairet and the 17 players comprising Jardine, Mitchell, Paynter, Tate, Larwood, Voce, Brown, Ames, Leyland, Duckworth, Verity, Nawab of Pataudi, Allen, Wyatt, Sutcliffe, Hammond and Bowes, complete with the original envelope, believed to be in the hand of Richard Palairet, postmarked Melbourne 1 Jan 1933, and in which the autographs were mailed to England, also with the original letter of request for the autographs by Master Jack Andrews of Bristol; together also with a press cutting relating to the schoolboy's possession of the signatures as part of a scheme where one shilling was paid to go to a MCC initiative helping raise funds for hospitals; the lot also including a small group of other cricket autographs including signed cigarette cards of L.F.
