1966 World Cup memorabilia, including four official tournament pennants from the Football Associations of Argentina (two), Uruguay and Portugal, the three South American pennants all bearing signatures of Association dignitaries; together with a tournament programme signed by the Uruguayan players Alvarez, Salva & Esparrago; and a World Cup final programme, unsigned (6) not illustrated The items were collected by an official driver at the 1966 World Cup who was responsible for taking dignitaries to Wembley for matches. The pennants in the lot represent gifts by dignitaries from the Football Associations of Uruguay, Argentina and Portugal, who all played at Wembley during the tournament.
