Keke Rosberg-signed print, bearing a personal message: To Sailor with best thanks, signed in pen, after an early 1980s charcoal portrait also featuring a Fittipaldi F1 car, by an unknown hand, framed and glazed, 53 by 42cm., 21 by 16?in.; together with a David Coulthard-signed print of an Alan Stammers drawing of his 1996 Canadian GP McLaren-Mercedes, marked: Artist's Proof and also signed by the artist, unframed, 65 by 90cm., 25? by 36in. (2) Appendix Property of a F1 racing mechanic (lots *** to ***) The late Phil 'Sailor' Boore joined the Frank Williams F1 team in 1974. Two years later it became Walter Wolf Racing and, as the team's 'tyre man', he worked with Jody Scheckter and Keke Rosberg. In 1982 he joined McLaren and spent the next 18 years looking after the likes of Niki Lauda, Alain Prost, Ayrton Senna, Mika Hakkinen and David Coulthard. He eventually retired in April 2000 having contributed to no fewer than nine Formula 1 Drivers World Championships.
