1972 German Grand Prix engraved trophy awarded to Graham Hill, a silvered cylindrical design with gilded machined band and a removable cover surmounted by one of two DMV club motifs highlighted in coloured enamels, engraved: GROSE PRIS VON DEUTSCHLAND NUBURGRING 29/30 JULI 1972 with a facsimile signature of the club's president, fixed to a turned wooden base, 44cm. high. Hill was the last points-finisher at the end of the race, taking sixth place in one of Bernie Ecclestone's Brabham-Cosworth BT37s. Provenance: purchased at auction several years ago.
