An interesting collection of b&w press photographs relating to the Argentinian youth football championships [Futbol Campeonato Infantil] from 1950 to 1953, including 12 examples of teams playing in the Campeonato Infantil ''Evita'', one of which is called 'Peron Cumple. Teams in the Campeonato Infantil, for which there are 28 photographs, include the borrowed names of Arsenal and Juventus de Montserrat. The lot also including a press action photograph of the Newell's Old Boys senior team in 1958. Offering a fascinating insight into the youth system of one of the most successful footballing nations in the world, worthy of further research to see if any of the talented youngsters depicted went on to play the game professionally.
