Enrique 'Topo' Rodriguez: A sky blue & white hooped Argentina No.21 international rugby union shirt 1978, This shirt relates to the very first rugby union international encounter between England and Argentina. The match was played at Twickenham on 14th October 1978. Argentina treated it as an official match and awarded caps. England did not, however, with the team fielded described as an 'England XV.' The game ended as a 13-13 draw. The No.21 shirt was allocated to unused replacement prop Topo Rodriguez, who later played in 13 Test Matches for Argentina before assuming Australian citizenship and playing 26 Tests for the Wallabies. Uniquely, he also played one Test for Tahiti thereby representing three nations internationally.
