Macey's Professional's shop covering the period 1927 to its temporary closure in 1940; a selection of postcards and photographs of Macey and Crowborough Golf Club; a rules & by-laws booklet dated 1927; two booklets by Bernard Darwin published in 1938 and 1946; and a score card from 1947, a best ball game, including C.Macey The best ball scorecard includes the name of Mr Smalley. It is believed that this is the same Mr Smalley who was an official of the Bank of England and whose signature appeared on U.K. bank notes. Provenance: C.A. Macey, son of C.
