Memorabilia relating to Len Maddocks of Australia from the 1956 Ashes series in England, comprising: a Stuart Surridge test match stump split and hinged and signed by 17 Australian and 11 England players, exterior varnished; sold with a letter of authenticity signed by Len Maddocks; and Maddocks's cricket bat and batting gloves used during the 1956 series, including Jim Laker's 19 wicket Test Match at Old Trafford, the Stuart Surridge bat signed in ink on the reverse by Maddocks, the handle with a luggage label listing the occasions Maddocks used this bat, written in the hand of Maddocks, the gloves by Slazenger; sold with a signed letter of authenticity signed by Maddocks (6) Len Maddocks made 2 and 4 runs in Jim Laker's famous Test Match, with Laker claiming his scalp on both occasions.
