A copy of W.J. Ford's A History of the Cambridge University Cricket Club previously owned by the Antarctic explorer Raymond Priestley and with some fascinating pasted additions including material relating to his personal friend the cricketer Jahangir Khan, including library label inscribed BRITISH ANTARCTIC EXPEDITION, TERRA NOVA R.Y.S., RAYMOND E. PRIESTLEY, various correspondence, photographs and signatures relating to the cricketer Jahangir Khan, other correspondence and photographs, a small booklet titled The Life Story of an Eton, Cambridge and All-England Cricketer C.T. Studd (not pasted down), a postcard signed by the 1932 All-India cricket team (not pasted down), Priestley's life member's ticket for Cambridge University CC, and an autographed rugby menu at Clare College 3rd May 1934 Jahangir Khan played for India in their first ever Test Match against England at Lords in 1932. He was the father of Majid Khan, a prominent professional in the 1960s and 1970s, and the uncle of Pakistan's legendary all-rounder Imran Khan. It was Jahangir Khan who bowled the ball in 1936 that killed the unfortunate sparrow, now in the Lords museum.
