A fine quality set of England 1966 World Cup signatures, a sheet of blue Hendon Hall Hotel head notepaper fully-signed by the 22-man England 1966 World Cup squad, additionally signed by the England trainer Harold Shepherdson; and a Hendon Hall Hotel envelope post-marked Hendon, 7.15pm, 29 July 1966, and addressed in the hand of Jimmy Armfield (2) These autographs were collected by Jimmy Armfield at the England-base of the Hendon Hall Hotel. He then sent them to his solicitor and friend in Blackpool. The above lot was posted to the vendor whose father was the solicitor and friend of Jimmy Armfield on the eve of the 1966 World Cup final.
