An autograph book dating from 1956, team-groups signatures in ink comprising Bristol Rovers, Rotherham United, Bury, Hull City, Plymouth Argyle, Nottingham Forest, Swindon Town, Middlesbrough, Bristol City, England (v Denmark), Luton Town, Swansea Town, West Ham United (twice), Sheffield Wednesday, Manchester United, Lincoln City, Barnsley, Reading, Royal Navy FA & Army FA, plus cricket Gloucestershire (1st and 2nd XI's), Wiltshire, Umpires, Warwickshire & Somerset This autograph book was a prize for a schools essay competition in Bristol. The autographs were collected by Bristol Rovers manager Bert Tann in 1956. The book includes the Busby Babes team that Rovers famously defeated in the F.A. Cup.
