A superb and complete collection of England international footballers autographs 1946 to 2000, called 'Cap That England', a complete collection of all 448 footballers who have been capped for England since the resumption of full international football in 1946 to the millennium, the collection beginning with No.1 Frank Swift the England goalkeeper v Northern Ireland at Windsor Park 28th September 1946, and concluding with Frank Lampard jnr. being the 448th and final player to win an England cap between the war and the end of the 20th century, the collection meticulously organised in five ring binder files in appearance number order, with each collected autographed pasted onto a typed information sheet regarding the player providing information such as field position, date of birth, associated clubs, detailed international record, other honours, potted biography and there all-time England appearance number e.g. Neil Webb 349th post-war player, 1,000th all-time player, also with a caricature of the footballer's body hand-drawn by the collector and then pasted with a photographic head portrait, the autographed sometimes dedicated to the collector 'Dear John [Feast],' on other occasions accompanied by a signed letter when the player replied to the collector; sold together with four other ringer binder files containing related information, correspondence, press cuttings and further miscellaneous autographs collated during the course of the collection's assembly, viewing recommended (9)
