All four International Donington Grand Prix official programmes, as published by the Derby & District Motor Club, the first dated 5 October 1935, 34 stapled pages with annotation in ink, containing relevant press cuttings from The Autocar, spine restored, the second dated 3 October 1936, 40 stapled pages, sold with a lapel day badge for the same event, the red card marked COMPETITOR, the third dated 2 October 1937, 44 stapled pages, sold with the official D.D.M.C. 1937 Grand Prix results 12-page booklet, the last being a 7-section concertina fold-out detailing every lap time for each competitor during the race, the fourth being over-printed 22 October 1938, 44 stapled pages, sold with a copy of the D.D.M.C. 16-page Race Regulations booklet bearing the original 1 October 1938 date (7) That Donington was not prepared for the sheer spectacle of Hitler's 'Silver Arrows' can be seen by the fact that the 1937 programme featured two Austin 7-derived racing cars on its front cover. By 1938, even the Munich Crisis could not stop spectator numbers exceeding 70,000, though it did force the event to be delayed by three weeks.
