A group of football ceramics and glass, comprising two models of goalkeepers, the first in Russian porcelain and stylishly modelled with the goalie making a low save, 19cm., 7 1/2in. long, the other a biscuit-fired figurine, possibly Russian, with the 'keeper making a crouching save, repaired, 12cm., 4 3/4in. high; two rare antique Delft blue and white tiles with early depictions of football, the first with two players contesting for the ball, the other with a single footballer on a run, the first slightly larger 12.5cm., 5in. square; a set of four Dutch Delft blue & white dishes, each decorated with footballers, 13.5cm., 5 1/4in.; a porcelain lined hot water vessel, enclosed in a metal chamber for hot water, 19cm., 7 1/2in. diameter; Four football-themed drinking glasses, comprising a hand-enamelled example portraying two captains and the referee before kick-off, a Dutch glass commemorating England's victory in the 1966 World Cup, a Babycham glass enamelled with a footballer and a German 1974 World Cup shot glass; and a porcelain pot lid decorated with a football scene (14)
