THIS LOT HAS BEEN WITHDRAWN: Tommy Jackson: a green Northern Ireland No.11 jersey worn during the 1975 Home International Championship and later autographed by George Best, long-sleeved, autographed by Best in ink on the white 'V', now somewhat faded This shirt was obtained by the vendor's sister-in-law who was a close neighbour of Tommy Jackson. The vendor had the shirt signed at a later date on an occasion that he met George Best. Tommy Jackson was born in Belfast 3rd November 1946. The midfielder won a total of 35 Northern Ireland international caps between 1968 and 1977. He joined Everton from Glentoran in season 1967-68 where he won a League Championship medal in 1969-70. At the time of the 1975 Home Internationals Jackson was a Nottingham Forest player and shortly afterwards completed a summer move to Manchester United. He later managed in Ireland for Waterford, Crusaders, Glentoran and Ballymena United between 1978 and 1994.
