A Brazilian Football Association 1958 World Cup winner's sash presented to Dr Ernesto Santos, worked in yellow, chocolate and green silk inscribed CAMPEAO DO MUNDO - 1958, set with a rosette bearing the crest of the Brazilian F.A., gilt-wire fringe; sold with a letter of authenticity and a number of related papers and photographs These sashes were presented to the players of the 1958 World Cup winning squad and senior members of the Brazilian delegation. The present example was awarded to Dr. Ernesto Santos, an influential member of coach Vincent Feola's technical staff. The academician was also head of the faculty of football at the University of Brazil.
