John Wisden's Cricketers' Almanack, a superb unbroken run of 136 volumes from the first year of issue 1864 to 1999, the whole run similarly rebound in green cloth covered boards with gilt titling to spine, from 1864 to 1953 the volumes are bound with the original paper wrappers preserved, or from 1938 the limp linen wrappers preserved, with the following exceptions: 1868, 1870-1875, 1876 (front only), 1877-1878, 1880 (front only), 1883 (front only), 1886-1888, 1890 (front only), 1892, 1894, 1897 (front only), 1911, 1919 & 1937, from 1954 onwards the covers have been removed prior to binding, consistent evidence of trimming by bookbinder, the 1873 & 1875 volumes in non-uniform brown bindings (136)
