A good album of cricket & sporting autographs collected in the 1920s/30s aboard the Union Castle steamer line, mainly sporting subjects, cricket, including three tour brochure, the first and second signed by the MCC players to South Africa in 1930-31 & 1938-39, the other signed by the South Africans to England in 1935, postcards signed by the 1934 Australians to England, the England 1926 Ashes team, the MCC 1924 team to South Africa, the Lancashire County Champions of the 1920s, the South Africa test team of 1924, plus the signatures of the MCC 1923 Test Team; rugby, a postcard signed by the 1931 Springboks rugby team; tennis, postcards signed by the South African Lawn Tennis Ladies Team dated 29.4.1929 and the French Davis Cup team of 1928; football, two postcards signed by the South African soccer team of 1924; golf, a menu signed by the British Professional Golfers team to South Africa in 1936; the album containing other non-sporting autographs, notably a signed press photograph of the aviator Amy Johnson
