A 1950s jockey's jacket in the famous Crazy Quilt colours, by Boyce & Rogers of Newmarket These colours were first registered in 1950 to Chesney Allen, a member of the Crazy Gang. Their distinctive & highly colourful pattern together with their association with the popular entertainer made these colours instantly recognisable on British Racecourses during the 1950s.
