Martin Brundle used 1985-86 Arai F1 race helmet, a colourful design of red and blue on white, his Christian name featured in gold lettering on both sides, with Data General and Arai logos above a darkened visor, the full lining concealing Snell number A2085723 and Arai serial number labels, manufactured 05/85, some deterioration to foam padding, with its original Arai draw-string bag (2) Martin Brundle spent three seasons with the Tyrrell F1 team and Data General became its title sponsor in 1986 when he finished 11th in the Drivers World Championship. In August of that year, mobile phone company Cellnet ran a promotional national slot-car racing event and this helmet was one of the prizes.
