A pair of 1924 Olympic Lawn Tennis cards signed by Helen Wills and Mlle Julie Vlasto, finalists in the ladies' singles competition at the 1924 Paris Games that year, Wills securing the gold medal and Vlasto (France) the silver, the cards are obviously from a series of images much in the tradition of Edwin Trim of London, but were produced by a French company, 'A -N' of Paris, both in excellent condition Vlasto was one of the last lady players to use an underhand serve in international tennis, and on a very hot day, Wills easily beat her 6-2 6-2, after defeating Molla Mallory earlier in the competition. An interested spectator was Suzanne Lenglen, their first singles meeting was still 2 years away.
